Gardening and outdoor learning goes beyond establishing gardens on school grounds. It involves designing and developing outdoor spaces that can serve as outdoor classrooms where students (children or adults) can explore science, mathematics, nutrition, cooking, sustainability, and other content in a purposeful and interactive manner.
